THE CHARITYについて

THE CHARITYは、株式会社ペトログが主催する、どうぶつ福祉のチャリティーイベントです。第1回となる「#01 -アートで動物を救う-」では、国内外33名のアーティストによる70点を超えるアート作品の展示・販売をはじめ、保護犬・保護猫の譲渡会、チャリティーグッズやペット用品の販売、ワークショップを開催します。

アート作品のご購入は、そのまま動物たちへの支援につながります。イベントで生じた利益は全額、動物保護団体・個人活動家への必要な物資の支援に活用されます。

会期：2026年8月29日（土）〜 9月6日（日）11:00〜18:00 ※8月31日（月）は休廊
会場：JPS GALLERY Tokyo（東京都渋谷区神宮前6-27-4）｜入場無料・ペット同伴可

THE CHARITY is an animal-welfare charity event organised by Petlog Inc. Its first edition, "#01 – Saving Animals Through Art –", features an exhibition and sale of over 70 artworks by 33 artists from Japan and overseas, along with adoption events for rescued dogs and cats, sales of charity goods and pet products, and workshops.

Every purchase of an artwork directly supports animals in need: all profits from the event go towards essential supplies for animal-welfare organisations and independent rescuers.

JPS Galleryについて

2014年に香港で誕生した現代アートギャラリー。現在は東京にも拠点を構え、世界各地のアーティストの作品を展覧会や国際的なアートフェアを通じて紹介しています。次世代を担う若手アーティストのキャリア形成を継続的にサポートするほか、チャリティーイベントやオークションへの協賛を通じて、社会とアートシーンへの貢献にも力を注いでいます。

「THE CHARITY #01」は、本イベントの趣旨にご賛同いただいたJPS Galleryの多大なご協力により実現しました。協賛として会場をご提供いただくとともに、国内外33名の参加アーティストの招集にもお力添えいただいています。

Established in Hong Kong in 2014, JPS Gallery is a contemporary art gallery with a second home in Tokyo. Through its exhibitions and participation in international art fairs, the gallery introduces works by artists from around the world, while offering ongoing support to emerging artists as they build their careers. JPS Gallery is also committed to giving back — to both society and the local art community — through its sponsorship of charity events and auctions.

THE CHARITY #01 has been made possible through the generous support of JPS Gallery, which shares the vision of this event. As a sponsor, the gallery has provided its exhibition space and helped bring together the 33 participating artists from Japan and overseas.

アーティストからのコメント

私の叔父は著名な動物行動学者で、私は叔父の著作や翻訳書を通じて、動物に関する沢山のことを学びました。 世界には実に様々な動物たちがいて、それぞれ構造も生態も異なります。それを人間の尺度で、優れているとか劣っているとか判断することはできません。 様々な動物たちと共存するには、まず相手のことを知らねばなりません。そして慎重に、関係性を築いてゆく。そのプロセスを疎かにすることのないよう、私たちは注意する必要があるでしょう。

アーティストについて

由良瓏砂（Rosa Yura）（日本）

由良瓏砂は、人形作家、女優、ライター、古物商として幅広く活動し、現在はYScompany に所属している。和光大学人文学部芸術学科を卒業後、人形作家・吉田良氏の人形教室およびdoll space PYGMALIONにて人形制作を学ぶ。宗教やオカルティズムをテーマに、人間の精神性や神秘性を探求した創作人形や立体作品を制作している。創作人形・アクセサリー工房「アトリエ・アスフォデル」および演劇ユニット「MONT★SUCHT」を主宰するほか、アンティーク・レトロ雑貨店「ロサアンティカ」とアートサロンカフェ「哲学者の薔薇園」を運営。さらに、コンテンツ制作団体「HugSymphony」のCEO、音楽ユニット「ヰタ・スピリチュアリス」のボーカルとしても活動し、多彩な分野で表現を展開している。これまでに数多くの個展・グループ展に参加するほか、企画展の開催など、幅広いアートプロジェクトの企画・運営にも積極的に取り組んでいる。

Artist’s Comment

My uncle was a renowned animal behaviorist, and I learned a great deal about animals through his books and translations. There are truly countless kinds of animals in the world, each with their own unique structures and ways of life. We cannot judge them as superior or inferior based on human standards. In order to coexist with the diverse animals around us, we must first take the time to understand them. Then, we must carefully build a relationship with them. We need to be mindful not to overlook or take shortcuts in this process.

About the Artist

Rosa Yura (Japan)

Rosa Yura is a doll artist, actress, writer, and antique dealer, and is currently affiliated with YS company. After graduating from the Department of Arts, Faculty of Humanities, Wako University, she studied doll-making under renowned doll artist Ryo Yoshida and at doll space PYGMALION. Centered on themes of religion and occultism, she creates art dolls and sculptural works that explore human spirituality and mysticism. She is the founder of Atelier Asphodel, a studio dedicated to art dolls and accessories, and the theatrical unit MONT★SUCHT. She also operates the antique and vintage shop Rosa Antica and the art salon café Philosopher's Rose Garden. In addition, she serves as CEO of the creative collective HugSymphony and performs as the vocalist of the musical unit Vita Spiritualis, developing a multidisciplinary artistic practice across a wide range of creative fields. Alongside participating in numerous solo and group exhibitions, Yura has also organized a variety of curated exhibitions and interdisciplinary art projects.
