THE CHARITYについて

THE CHARITYは、株式会社ペトログが主催する、どうぶつ福祉のチャリティーイベントです。第1回となる「#01 -アートで動物を救う-」では、国内外33名のアーティストによる70点を超えるアート作品の展示・販売をはじめ、保護犬・保護猫の譲渡会、チャリティーグッズやペット用品の販売、ワークショップを開催します。

アート作品のご購入は、そのまま動物たちへの支援につながります。イベントで生じた利益は全額、動物保護団体・個人活動家への必要な物資の支援に活用されます。

会期：2026年8月29日（土）〜 9月6日（日）11:00〜18:00 ※8月31日（月）は休廊
会場：JPS GALLERY Tokyo（東京都渋谷区神宮前6-27-4）｜入場無料・ペット同伴可

THE CHARITY is an animal-welfare charity event organised by Petlog Inc. Its first edition, "#01 – Saving Animals Through Art –", features an exhibition and sale of over 70 artworks by 33 artists from Japan and overseas, along with adoption events for rescued dogs and cats, sales of charity goods and pet products, and workshops.

Every purchase of an artwork directly supports animals in need: all profits from the event go towards essential supplies for animal-welfare organisations and independent rescuers.

JPS Galleryについて

2014年に香港で誕生した現代アートギャラリー。現在は東京にも拠点を構え、世界各地のアーティストの作品を展覧会や国際的なアートフェアを通じて紹介しています。次世代を担う若手アーティストのキャリア形成を継続的にサポートするほか、チャリティーイベントやオークションへの協賛を通じて、社会とアートシーンへの貢献にも力を注いでいます。

「THE CHARITY #01」は、本イベントの趣旨にご賛同いただいたJPS Galleryの多大なご協力により実現しました。協賛として会場をご提供いただくとともに、国内外33名の参加アーティストの招集にもお力添えいただいています。

Established in Hong Kong in 2014, JPS Gallery is a contemporary art gallery with a second home in Tokyo. Through its exhibitions and participation in international art fairs, the gallery introduces works by artists from around the world, while offering ongoing support to emerging artists as they build their careers. JPS Gallery is also committed to giving back — to both society and the local art community — through its sponsorship of charity events and auctions.

THE CHARITY #01 has been made possible through the generous support of JPS Gallery, which shares the vision of this event. As a sponsor, the gallery has provided its exhibition space and helped bring together the 33 participating artists from Japan and overseas.

アーティストからのコメント

普段は画家としての活動に加え、社会貢献活動にも力を注いでいます。今回、チャリティーのお声がけをいただき、子どもたちへの寄贈活動の経験はありましたが、動物たちへの支援に携わるのは初めての挑戦でした。大切な命のために作品を通して貢献できることを、とても嬉しく思っています。また、JPSギャラリー様よりアーティストとして参加させていただけることを光栄に感じています。今回は地元の素材を生かした陶芸作品もご用意しました。ぜひ、ポップで楽しい私の世界観をお楽しみください。

アーティストについて

Mima Japan（日本）

1992年愛知県名古屋市生まれ。岐阜県多治見市を拠点に活動。鮮やかな色彩と和洋折衷を取り入れた独自の世界観で、大型キャンバス作品を中心に制作。結婚を機に都会から田舎へ移住し、育児と制作を両立しながら創作活動を続ける。年間150件以上の公募展へ挑戦を重ね、2024年頃から国内外のコンテストで受賞を重ねる。2025年には、高さ約2.4メートルの自身最大となる作品で現代美術家協会新人賞を受賞。同年、念願であったプライベートギャラリー兼アトリエ「ARTIKT」を開設し、活動の幅をさらに広げた。現在は年間300点以上の作品を制作し、美術館、百貨店、ホテル、ラグジュアリー空間など国内各地で作品を発表するほか、3メートルを超える大型作品の制作にも取り組んでいる。2025年には自費出版した絵本『きずだらけのらびっと。ひらがなえほん』を地元市内のすべての公立小学校へ寄贈するなど、作品売上の一部を活用した社会貢献活動にも力を注いでいる。

Artist’s Comment

In addition to my work as a painter, I am also passionate about contributing to society through various activities. When I was invited to participate in this charity exhibition, I had previous experience donating artworks to children, but supporting animals is a new challenge for me. I am truly happy to have the opportunity to contribute to the lives of these precious animals through my art. I am also honored to be participating as an artist through JPS Gallery. For this exhibition, I have also prepared ceramic works made using locally sourced materials. I hope you will enjoy my colorful, playful, and joyful world through these works.

About the Artist

Mima Japan (Japan)

Based in Tajimi, Gifu, MIMA JAPAN is a contemporary pop artist whose practice is characterized by vivid colors and a distinctive visual language that blends Japanese and Western aesthetics. Working primarily on large-scale canvases, the artist relocated from the city to the countryside after marriage and has continued to balance artistic practice with raising a family. Driven by a commitment to artistic growth, MIMA JAPAN has participated in more than 150 open-call competitions annually, receiving a series of awards beginning in 2024. In 2025, the artist received the Emerging Artist Award at the 81st Genten Exhibition for Hello Again, a monumental painting measuring 2.4 meters—the largest work created to date. The same year, MIMA JAPAN realized a long-held dream by opening the private gallery and studio ARTIKT, further expanding both exhibition opportunities and artistic production. Currently producing more than 300 works annually, the artist exhibits in museums, department stores, hotels, and luxury spaces throughout Japan while also undertaking large-scale paintings measuring up to three meters. In October 2025, MIMA JAPAN self- published the picture book Scarred Rabbit: A Hiragana Picture Book and donated copies to every public elementary school in the artist's hometown. A portion of artwork sales is continuously dedicated to community initiatives, including children's book donation programs.
