子供の頃からリスザル、次にフェレット、次にハリネズミ、次にモルモット、次にムササビ、次に亀、次にトカゲ、次にブルドッグを家族にしまして、今はおりませんが、動物とは常に親しんできました。何より散歩が必要な動物は動物仲間が増えて、ご縁が広がります。愛護イベントでも動物に対する思いは、様々な角度から見た見解があり、それぞれが答えを白黒ハッキリ出せずに悩み合う部分、互いの優しさに寄り添う部分に、素敵な輝きを感じます。 今回も動物に向ける優しい眼差しからの人と人とのご縁が広がることを願います。

アーティストについて

和泉妃夏（Hina Izumi）（日本）

劇団四季研究所出身。「ミラクルボーン」の表現講師を務めるほか、株式会社Fapqyの代表を務める。NHK大河ドラマ「北条時宗」にて、伊東四朗演じる北条時宗の娘・北条芳子役で俳優デビュー。以降、舞台・映像作品を中心に幅広く活動を展開している。渡邊世紀監督による映像作品「1人28役愛のレシピ～卵ランド～」は、TBS「水曜日のダウンタウン」で紹介された。映画「親不知～石ころの詩～」ではミカン映画祭女優賞を受賞。脚本家としても活動し、ミライ座「ワンダームーン」の脚本を手がけ、宇宙演劇賞を受賞した。独自の「臓器パフォーマンス」は、マツコ・デラックス出演のバラエティ番組や、鎌田敏夫脚本によるNHKドラマ「逃げる女」でも披露されている。また、俳優活動にとどまらずアート分野でも活動を展開し、直島芸術祭で作品を発表。障害のある人々が描いた絵画をデザインに取り入れた衣装を身にまとい、「妖怪」という野生性をテーマにした「天守物語」を、日本各地の城を中心に上演している。さらに、動物を題材にした創作落語にも取り組むなど、多彩な表現活動を続けている。近年の主な舞台作品に、「序・黒蜥蜴」（2026年、主演）、「ミュージカルレムリア」（2026年、脚本・出演）がある。

Artist’s Comment

Since childhood, I have always lived alongside animals. I first had a squirrel monkey, followed by a ferret, a hedgehog, a guinea pig, a flying squirrel, a turtle, a lizard, and eventually a bulldog. Although none of them are with me now, animals have always been an important part of my life. More than anything, animals that need to be taken for walks have a wonderful way of bringing people and their animal companions together, creating new connections and expanding our circles of relationships. At animal welfare events, I often encounter many different perspectives on our relationships with animals. I find something truly beautiful in the way people struggle with questions that cannot simply be answered in black and white, while at the same time trying to understand and support one another through their shared compassion. I hope that this exhibition, too, will create new connections between people, all beginning with a kind and caring gaze toward animals.

About the Artist

Hina Izumi (Japan)

Born in 1976, Hina Izumi is an actor and solo performer. A former member of the Shiki Theatre Company Research Institute, Izumi is also an expression instructor for Miracle Bone and the representative director of Fapqy Inc. She made her acting debut in the NHK historical drama Hojo Tokimune, portraying Yoshiko Hojo, the daughter of the character played by Shiro Ito. Since then, she has been active across theater, film, and television. Her one-person, 28-character performance in director Seiki Watanabe's film Ai no Recipe: Tamago Land was featured on TBS's Wednesday Downtown. She received the Best Actress Award at the Mikan Film Festival for Oyashirazu: A Poem of Pebbles. As a playwright, she wrote Wonder Moon for Miraiza, which received the Space Theater Award. Izumi's unique "Organ Performance" has also been featured on a television variety program hosted by Matsuko Deluxe and in the NHK drama The Fugitive Woman, written by Toshio Kamata. Her artistic practice extends beyond acting. She has exhibited artwork at the Naoshima Art Festival and continues to perform Tenshu Monogatari, portraying a yokai that embodies untamed nature while wearing costumes designed from paintings created by artists with disabilities. The production has been staged primarily at historic Japanese castles. She also performs rakugo based on stories inspired by animals. Recent stage works include the leading role in Jo: Kurotokage (September 2026) and writing and performing in the musical Lemuria (December 2026).
