THE CHARITYについて

THE CHARITYは、株式会社ペトログが主催する、どうぶつ福祉のチャリティーイベントです。第1回となる「#01 -アートで動物を救う-」では、国内外33名のアーティストによる70点を超えるアート作品の展示・販売をはじめ、保護犬・保護猫の譲渡会、チャリティーグッズやペット用品の販売、ワークショップを開催します。

アート作品のご購入は、そのまま動物たちへの支援につながります。イベントで生じた利益は全額、動物保護団体・個人活動家への必要な物資の支援に活用されます。

会期：2026年8月29日（土）〜 9月6日（日）11:00〜18:00 ※8月31日（月）は休廊
会場：JPS GALLERY Tokyo（東京都渋谷区神宮前6-27-4）｜入場無料・ペット同伴可

THE CHARITY is an animal-welfare charity event organised by Petlog Inc. Its first edition, "#01 – Saving Animals Through Art –", features an exhibition and sale of over 70 artworks by 33 artists from Japan and overseas, along with adoption events for rescued dogs and cats, sales of charity goods and pet products, and workshops.

Every purchase of an artwork directly supports animals in need: all profits from the event go towards essential supplies for animal-welfare organisations and independent rescuers.

JPS Galleryについて

2014年に香港で誕生した現代アートギャラリー。現在は東京にも拠点を構え、世界各地のアーティストの作品を展覧会や国際的なアートフェアを通じて紹介しています。次世代を担う若手アーティストのキャリア形成を継続的にサポートするほか、チャリティーイベントやオークションへの協賛を通じて、社会とアートシーンへの貢献にも力を注いでいます。

「THE CHARITY #01」は、本イベントの趣旨にご賛同いただいたJPS Galleryの多大なご協力により実現しました。協賛として会場をご提供いただくとともに、国内外33名の参加アーティストの招集にもお力添えいただいています。

Established in Hong Kong in 2014, JPS Gallery is a contemporary art gallery with a second home in Tokyo. Through its exhibitions and participation in international art fairs, the gallery introduces works by artists from around the world, while offering ongoing support to emerging artists as they build their careers. JPS Gallery is also committed to giving back — to both society and the local art community — through its sponsorship of charity events and auctions.

THE CHARITY #01 has been made possible through the generous support of JPS Gallery, which shares the vision of this event. As a sponsor, the gallery has provided its exhibition space and helped bring together the 33 participating artists from Japan and overseas.

私は11羽のフクロウと共に生活している。フクロウは動物の肉を喰らう生き物で、私もそういう生き物。彼らと一緒に唐揚げや卵焼きを食べる。彼らが暑そうにしていたらお水をあげて、私も喉が渇いたら水を飲む。身体が発しているサインを素直に受け取る。そして動く。根本はそれだけで共生ができる気がする。人は言葉で伝えるけれど、彼らは言葉を話せない。だからこそ、人間がそのサインを受け取るアンテナを磨いていくのが良いと思う。 可愛いと思ったら、可愛いと言う。みたいに。

アーティストについて

Gee-Geo（日本）

群馬県在住・群馬を拠点に活動。2002年、群馬県高崎市にてインドネシア人の父と日本人の母のもとに生まれる。物心つく前から犬がそばにいて、ウサギや家に通ってくる野良猫たちと共に育つなど、動物と暮らすことが当たり前の環境で幼少期を過ごした。高校在学中にフィルムカメラと出会い、日々撮影を重ねる中でMVの制作を始める。2019 年、自宅の一角を展示空間に作り替え、初個展「あいでんてぃてぃとかなんとか」を開催。以降、写真、映像、イラストなど、ジャンルにとらわれず、感覚が反応するままに自分らしさを表現できる手法を自由に横断しながら制作を続けている。2020年、30羽のフクロウが池袋から自宅にやってくる。フクロウのために家を大改装し、一時保護などの過程を経て、現在は11羽のフクロウと共同生活を送る。動物と生きる日常そのものを創作の根に持つマルチアーティストとして、活動の幅を広げている。

Artist’s Comment

I live with eleven owls. Owls are creatures that eat the flesh of other animals, and in that sense, I am a creature like them as well. We share karaage and tamagoyaki together. When they seem hot, I give them water, and when I feel thirsty, I drink water too. We simply listen honestly to the signals our bodies give us—and then act on them. At the most fundamental level, I feel that this may be all we need to coexist. Humans communicate through words, but animals cannot speak our language. That is precisely why I believe we should sharpen our own antennae so that we can better recognize and understand the signals they send us. If you think they are cute, simply tell them, “You’re so cute.” That may be enough.

About the Artist

Gee-Geo (Japan)

GEE-GEO was born in 2002 in Takasaki City, Gunma Prefecture, to an Indonesian father and a Japanese mother. Growing up, animals were always part of daily life — dogs from the very beginning, rabbits, and stray cats that kept visiting the family home. During high school, GEE-GEO discovered film photography and began shooting every day, which soon led to music video production. In 2019, they converted a space in their own home into a gallery and held their first solo exhibition, "Identity or Something Like That". A multidisciplinary artist unbound by genre, GEE-GEO moves freely across photography, film, and illustration —following their senses wherever they respond, in search of forms that express who they truly are. In 2020, thirty owls arrived at their home from Ikebukuro. They renovated the house entirely for the owls, and after a period of fostering and rehoming, GEE-GEO now shares their life with eleven owls. With a practice rooted in the everyday experience of living alongside animals, GEE-GEO continues to expand their work as an artist.
