THE CHARITYについて

THE CHARITYは、株式会社ペトログが主催する、どうぶつ福祉のチャリティーイベントです。第1回となる「#01 -アートで動物を救う-」では、国内外33名のアーティストによる70点を超えるアート作品の展示・販売をはじめ、保護犬・保護猫の譲渡会、チャリティーグッズやペット用品の販売、ワークショップを開催します。

アート作品のご購入は、そのまま動物たちへの支援につながります。イベントで生じた利益は全額、動物保護団体・個人活動家への必要な物資の支援に活用されます。

会期：2026年8月29日（土）〜 9月6日（日）11:00〜18:00 ※8月31日（月）は休廊
会場：JPS GALLERY Tokyo（東京都渋谷区神宮前6-27-4）｜入場無料・ペット同伴可

THE CHARITY is an animal-welfare charity event organised by Petlog Inc. Its first edition, "#01 – Saving Animals Through Art –", features an exhibition and sale of over 70 artworks by 33 artists from Japan and overseas, along with adoption events for rescued dogs and cats, sales of charity goods and pet products, and workshops.

Every purchase of an artwork directly supports animals in need: all profits from the event go towards essential supplies for animal-welfare organisations and independent rescuers.

JPS Galleryについて

2014年に香港で誕生した現代アートギャラリー。現在は東京にも拠点を構え、世界各地のアーティストの作品を展覧会や国際的なアートフェアを通じて紹介しています。次世代を担う若手アーティストのキャリア形成を継続的にサポートするほか、チャリティーイベントやオークションへの協賛を通じて、社会とアートシーンへの貢献にも力を注いでいます。

「THE CHARITY #01」は、本イベントの趣旨にご賛同いただいたJPS Galleryの多大なご協力により実現しました。協賛として会場をご提供いただくとともに、国内外33名の参加アーティストの招集にもお力添えいただいています。

Established in Hong Kong in 2014, JPS Gallery is a contemporary art gallery with a second home in Tokyo. Through its exhibitions and participation in international art fairs, the gallery introduces works by artists from around the world, while offering ongoing support to emerging artists as they build their careers. JPS Gallery is also committed to giving back — to both society and the local art community — through its sponsorship of charity events and auctions.

THE CHARITY #01 has been made possible through the generous support of JPS Gallery, which shares the vision of this event. As a sponsor, the gallery has provided its exhibition space and helped bring together the 33 participating artists from Japan and overseas.

私は生まれた時からからずっと犬がいる家庭で育ちました。 楽しい時も、そうでない時も、犬たちはいつもそばにいて、私にたくさんの幸せを与えてくれました。 私ができることは本当に小さなことですが、少しでも、犬や猫、動物たちに恩返しがしたいという思いでチャリティー展に出展させて頂きました。 小さな思いがたくさん積み重なって、人と動物が良い関係で共生し、世界中に幸せが溢れることを願っています。

アーティストについて

坂本藍子（Aiko Sakamoto）（日本）

彼女は、水や大気、生命の本質からインスピレーションを得て、青を基調とした作品を創造しています。また、鉱物を思わせる、光を乱反射させてきらめく顔料を用いることで、独特の表現を追求しています。青い蝶のモチーフを通じて、彼女は人間の存在を「形あるもの」としてではなく、光と影、風、宇宙、静寂、そして無形のものと溶け合い、「心」— 目には見えないが確かに存在するもの— と調和する感覚を表現しています。立体作品においては、青の色彩の中で生命が誕生し、重なり合い、無限に循環していく様子を描いています。蝶は和紙に箔を施して制作され、羽の角度を調整することで光を強く反射させ、動きと生命力を生み出しています。これにより、内なる光が解き放たれる瞬間を表現することを試みています。

Artist’s Comment

I have grown up in a home with dogs ever since I was born. Whether I was happy or going through difficult times, dogs were always by my side, bringing me so much happiness. What I can do may be very small, but I decided to participate in this charity exhibition with the hope of giving something back to dogs, cats, and all animals, even in a small way. I hope that these small acts of kindness will come together and help create a world where people and animals can coexist harmoniously, and where happiness can flourish all around the world.

About the Artist

Aiko Sakamoto (Japan)

Aiko Sakamoto creates her works using blue as the foundation, inspired by the essence of water, atmosphere, and life, along with pigments that shimmer by reflecting light in a chaotic manner, reminiscent of minerals. In her depiction of a blue butterfly figure, she expresses the feeling of human existence not as a tangible entity, but as something that blends with light, shadow, wind, the cosmos, silence, and formlessness, harmonizing with the “heart”— something invisible, yet undeniably real. In the three-dimensional butterfly works, she illustrates the birth of life within blue hues, overlapping and circulating in endless cycles. The butterflies are made by applying foil to Japanese paper. By angling the wings, the light is reflected more strongly, giving birth to a sense of movement and vitality. She sought to express the moment when inner light is released.
