THE CHARITYについて

THE CHARITYは、株式会社ペトログが主催する、どうぶつ福祉のチャリティーイベントです。第1回となる「#01 -アートで動物を救う-」では、国内外33名のアーティストによる70点を超えるアート作品の展示・販売をはじめ、保護犬・保護猫の譲渡会、チャリティーグッズやペット用品の販売、ワークショップを開催します。

アート作品のご購入は、そのまま動物たちへの支援につながります。イベントで生じた利益は全額、動物保護団体・個人活動家への必要な物資の支援に活用されます。

会期：2026年8月29日（土）〜 9月6日（日）11:00〜18:00 ※8月31日（月）は休廊
会場：JPS GALLERY Tokyo（東京都渋谷区神宮前6-27-4）｜入場無料・ペット同伴可

THE CHARITY is an animal-welfare charity event organised by Petlog Inc. Its first edition, "#01 – Saving Animals Through Art –", features an exhibition and sale of over 70 artworks by 33 artists from Japan and overseas, along with adoption events for rescued dogs and cats, sales of charity goods and pet products, and workshops.

Every purchase of an artwork directly supports animals in need: all profits from the event go towards essential supplies for animal-welfare organisations and independent rescuers.

JPS Galleryについて

2014年に香港で誕生した現代アートギャラリー。現在は東京にも拠点を構え、世界各地のアーティストの作品を展覧会や国際的なアートフェアを通じて紹介しています。次世代を担う若手アーティストのキャリア形成を継続的にサポートするほか、チャリティーイベントやオークションへの協賛を通じて、社会とアートシーンへの貢献にも力を注いでいます。

「THE CHARITY #01」は、本イベントの趣旨にご賛同いただいたJPS Galleryの多大なご協力により実現しました。協賛として会場をご提供いただくとともに、国内外33名の参加アーティストの招集にもお力添えいただいています。

Established in Hong Kong in 2014, JPS Gallery is a contemporary art gallery with a second home in Tokyo. Through its exhibitions and participation in international art fairs, the gallery introduces works by artists from around the world, while offering ongoing support to emerging artists as they build their careers. JPS Gallery is also committed to giving back — to both society and the local art community — through its sponsorship of charity events and auctions.

THE CHARITY #01 has been made possible through the generous support of JPS Gallery, which shares the vision of this event. As a sponsor, the gallery has provided its exhibition space and helped bring together the 33 participating artists from Japan and overseas.

アーティストについて

三平硝子（Shoko Mihira）（日本）

三平硝子は、日常の中で感じた内面の感情や経験をもとに、個性的で魅力的なモンスター たちを創り出す、日本のガラスアーティストです。彼の作品一つ一つには物語があり、これまでに出会ってきた人々や、周囲の環境、個人的な経験から得た共感が作品の中に息づいています。バーナーワーク技法を用い、ガラスチューブを炎で溶かしながら、繊細で幻想的なデザインへと変化させていきます。高い技術と集中力をもって、ガラス内部に液体や糸を封入することで、感情から内臓まで、内面世界を視覚化した作品を制作しています。滑らかでありながら硬質なガラスの中を流れる液体の動きは、光の屈折効果を最大限に引き出し、同時に「空」と「実」の対比を通して、作品に深みと神秘性を与えています。彼は、色ガラスが持つ多様な質感や色彩が、日常の出来事や社会現象、人との対話を客観化する手段になり得ると信じています。彼のモンスターたちは、粗削りな美しさと遊び心を絶妙に融合させた独自のスタイルを持ち、どこか愛らしくも不可思議な存在感を放っています。また、くすんだ暗めの色調を効果的に使うことで、その魅力を一層際立たせ、素材・感情・形態の関係性への深い理解を、作品を通じて表現しています。三平硝子は1979年に東京都で生まれ、2016年にアメリカのガラス作家Zii氏に師事。これまでに「モンスター展2020」優秀賞、「IAGアワード2021」入選、「インディペンデント東京2021」審査員特別賞など、数々の賞を受賞しています。

Hello, I’m the artist Mihira. I’m honored to be taking part in this charity initiative supporting a better future for dogs and cats. I’m very happy that my artwork can contribute to animal welfare and support those in need. Thank you very much for your support, and I look forward to being part of this meaningful initiative.

About the Artist

Shoko Mihira (Japan)

Shoko Mihira is a Japanese glass artist who creates a universe of unique and captivating　monsters reflecting his inner emotions and experiences from his daily life. Each of his creations　tells a unique story with an empathetic approach and is modelled after personal encounters, his surroundings and the diverse range of individuals he has encountered along his artistic journey. Using a burner work technique, Shoko melts the glass tubes on a flame before skilfully shaping them into intricate and mesmerising designs. With great precision and skill, Shoko fills his glass artworks with liquids and threads, bringing to life a stunning representation of the internal world– ranging from emotions to internal organs. The dynamic interplay between the flowing liquids within the smooth yet rigid glass vessels further enhances the refraction of light whilst exploring the notions of emptiness and solidness, adding depth and intrigue to his creations. Shoko believes that colored glass offers an unparalleled array of textures and hues that allows him to objectify the events, social phenomena and conversations in his everyday life. Shoko’s uncanny monsters possess a distinct style that effortlessly combines rough aesthetics with playful elements, revealing the adorable yet enigmatic nature of the creatures portrayed, all while utilising dark and muted tones to significant effect. This harmonious blend of elements gives rise to Shoko's distinctive style that effortlessly showcases the whimsical nature of these creatures and his deep understanding of the interplay between emotions, materials, and form.
