THE CHARITYについて

THE CHARITYは、株式会社ペトログが主催する、どうぶつ福祉のチャリティーイベントです。第1回となる「#01 -アートで動物を救う-」では、国内外33名のアーティストによる70点を超えるアート作品の展示・販売をはじめ、保護犬・保護猫の譲渡会、チャリティーグッズやペット用品の販売、ワークショップを開催します。

アート作品のご購入は、そのまま動物たちへの支援につながります。イベントで生じた利益は全額、動物保護団体・個人活動家への必要な物資の支援に活用されます。

会期：2026年8月29日（土）〜 9月6日（日）11:00〜18:00 ※8月31日（月）は休廊
会場：JPS GALLERY Tokyo（東京都渋谷区神宮前6-27-4）｜入場無料・ペット同伴可

THE CHARITY is an animal-welfare charity event organised by Petlog Inc. Its first edition, "#01 – Saving Animals Through Art –", features an exhibition and sale of over 70 artworks by 33 artists from Japan and overseas, along with adoption events for rescued dogs and cats, sales of charity goods and pet products, and workshops.

Every purchase of an artwork directly supports animals in need: all profits from the event go towards essential supplies for animal-welfare organisations and independent rescuers.

JPS Galleryについて

2014年に香港で誕生した現代アートギャラリー。現在は東京にも拠点を構え、世界各地のアーティストの作品を展覧会や国際的なアートフェアを通じて紹介しています。次世代を担う若手アーティストのキャリア形成を継続的にサポートするほか、チャリティーイベントやオークションへの協賛を通じて、社会とアートシーンへの貢献にも力を注いでいます。

「THE CHARITY #01」は、本イベントの趣旨にご賛同いただいたJPS Galleryの多大なご協力により実現しました。協賛として会場をご提供いただくとともに、国内外33名の参加アーティストの招集にもお力添えいただいています。

Established in Hong Kong in 2014, JPS Gallery is a contemporary art gallery with a second home in Tokyo. Through its exhibitions and participation in international art fairs, the gallery introduces works by artists from around the world, while offering ongoing support to emerging artists as they build their careers. JPS Gallery is also committed to giving back — to both society and the local art community — through its sponsorship of charity events and auctions.

THE CHARITY #01 has been made possible through the generous support of JPS Gallery, which shares the vision of this event. As a sponsor, the gallery has provided its exhibition space and helped bring together the 33 participating artists from Japan and overseas.

人や動物、植物が共に生きる世界をテーマに制作しました。画面の中のモチーフたちは、それぞれが自由に存在しながらも、どこかで響き合い、ゆるやかにつながっています。日常の中でふと感じる小さな喜びや、誰かと共にいる安心感、そして身近な命の尊さを大切に思う気持ちを表現しました。この作品を通して動物たちの存在に思いを寄せていただき、優しさや温かなまなざしが広がるきっかけとなれば幸いです。

Reina（日本）

世界中の神話や民話に関心を持つReinaは、これらの物語から得た知恵をキャンバスに映し出しています。科学やテクノロジーが発達した現代社会において、すべてを合理化・ 効率化しようとする傾向に強い懸念を抱いており、神話や民話に込められた無限の知恵を解き放つことで、人々はより充実した人生を送ることができると彼女は信じています。「Mythology」シリーズでは、自然現象や物体を擬人化し、「Embrace」シリーズでは、人間とあらゆる存在との間にある「与えること・受け取ること」の関係性が切り離せないものであることを表現しています。そして最新の「Genesis」シリーズでは、創世神話に焦点を当て、それらがこの世界を理解するうえで果たす根源的な役割を探っています。富山県に生まれた彼女は、2011年から2013年まで富山大学に在籍し、プラスチックアー ツの学士号と芸術・デザインの修士号を取得しました。彼女の作品は、日本各地の美術館や文化施設で多数展示されており、主な展示先には、浜崎健立現代美術館（大阪）、朝日町立ふるさと美術館（富山）、つくば美術館（茨城）、アートコンプレックスセンター（東京）、O美術館（東京）などがあります。

Artist’s Comment

I created this work around the theme of a world where people, animals, and plants coexist. Each motif within the composition exists freely in its own way, while subtly resonating with the others and forming gentle connections. I sought to express the small moments of joy we encounter in everyday life, the sense of comfort that comes from being with others, and a deep appreciation for the preciousness of the lives that surround us. Through this work, I hope viewers will take a moment to reflect on the presence of animals and that it may inspire greater kindness, compassion, and warmth toward all living beings.

About the Artist

Reina (Japan)

With an interest in myths and folktales from around the world, she would transfer the wisdom derived from these stories onto her canvases. Feeling a great sense of concern towards modern society's tendency to rationalise and streamline everything in this world of science and technology, Reina believes that people can live a more fulfilling life if they unlock the infinite wisdom that myths and folktales carry. In the Mythology series, natural phenomena and objects were personified, while the Embrace series expresses how the giving and receiving relationship between humanity and all beings are inextricably linked. Her most recent Genesis series focuses on creation myths and their fundamental role in our understanding how this world works. Born in Toyama, Japan, Reina attended the University of Toyama from 2011 to 2013, earning a degree in Plastic Arts and a graduate degree in Art and Design. Her works have been exhibited in numerous museums and institutions across Japan, including Hamasaki Museum of Contemporary Art, Osaka; Furusato Museum of Art, Toyama; Tsukuba Museum of Art, Ibaraki; Art Complex Centre, Tokyo; and O Museum, Tokyo, to name a few.
