THE CHARITYについて

THE CHARITYは、株式会社ペトログが主催する、どうぶつ福祉のチャリティーイベントです。第1回となる「#01 -アートで動物を救う-」では、国内外33名のアーティストによる70点を超えるアート作品の展示・販売をはじめ、保護犬・保護猫の譲渡会、チャリティーグッズやペット用品の販売、ワークショップを開催します。

アート作品のご購入は、そのまま動物たちへの支援につながります。イベントで生じた利益は全額、動物保護団体・個人活動家への必要な物資の支援に活用されます。

会期：2026年8月29日（土）〜 9月6日（日）11:00〜18:00 ※8月31日（月）は休廊
会場：JPS GALLERY Tokyo（東京都渋谷区神宮前6-27-4）｜入場無料・ペット同伴可

THE CHARITY is an animal-welfare charity event organised by Petlog Inc. Its first edition, "#01 – Saving Animals Through Art –", features an exhibition and sale of over 70 artworks by 33 artists from Japan and overseas, along with adoption events for rescued dogs and cats, sales of charity goods and pet products, and workshops.

Every purchase of an artwork directly supports animals in need: all profits from the event go towards essential supplies for animal-welfare organisations and independent rescuers.

JPS Galleryについて

2014年に香港で誕生した現代アートギャラリー。現在は東京にも拠点を構え、世界各地のアーティストの作品を展覧会や国際的なアートフェアを通じて紹介しています。次世代を担う若手アーティストのキャリア形成を継続的にサポートするほか、チャリティーイベントやオークションへの協賛を通じて、社会とアートシーンへの貢献にも力を注いでいます。

「THE CHARITY #01」は、本イベントの趣旨にご賛同いただいたJPS Galleryの多大なご協力により実現しました。協賛として会場をご提供いただくとともに、国内外33名の参加アーティストの招集にもお力添えいただいています。

Established in Hong Kong in 2014, JPS Gallery is a contemporary art gallery with a second home in Tokyo. Through its exhibitions and participation in international art fairs, the gallery introduces works by artists from around the world, while offering ongoing support to emerging artists as they build their careers. JPS Gallery is also committed to giving back — to both society and the local art community — through its sponsorship of charity events and auctions.

THE CHARITY #01 has been made possible through the generous support of JPS Gallery, which shares the vision of this event. As a sponsor, the gallery has provided its exhibition space and helped bring together the 33 participating artists from Japan and overseas.

黒猫とスズメが織りなす、緊張感と優しさが同居するひととき。本来なら「捕食」で終わるはずの出会いは、この作品の中で思いがけないロマンスへと変わっていく。

アーティストについて

Peep（中国・香港）

Peepは、香港を拠点に活動するアーティストで、自身の経験からインスピレーションを得て、現代女性の視点を通して見た世界を描いています。彼女の、繊細で鮮やかな女性の絵画には、自由で幸福に満ちた女性のユートピアが表現されており、時にはさまざまな人々 の感情や物語を象徴する動物たちも登場します。彼女の作品には少しの「かわいらしさ」が散りばめられており、それがこの混沌とした世界に喜びとポジティブなエネルギーをもたらすことを願っています。ミニマルな構図をベースに、滑らかな黒いアウトラインと落ち着いた原色を使って、丸みを帯びた特徴のある人気の女性キャラクターを描いています。流れるような線の使い方が、シンプルなシーンに生命を吹き込み、女性ならではの活力と生き生きとした姿を際立たせています。Peepの平面的でありながら遊び心のあるスタイルは、現代生活における気軽さや素朴さへの憧れを視覚化したものです。彼女は、自身の絵が見る人に喜びや空想の楽しさをもたらし、世界をもっと軽やかで想像力にあふれた目で見てもらえるようなきっかけになることを願っています。2015年に香港理工大学を卒業後、広告代理店のアートディレクターとして充実したキャリアを築きながら、Instagram上でビジュアルアーティストとしての活動も並行して行ってきました。その後、Casetifyなどの有名ブランドとのコラボレーションを行い、彼女の作品は香港のK11 Museaや、Vogue Hong Kong、Elle Hong Kongなどの都市空間やメディアで目にすることができます。現在も香港を拠点に活動を続けています。

Artist’s Comment

The story of a black cat and a sparrow locked in a tense yet tender pause. Here the catch becomes romance.

About the Artist

Peep (Hong Kong, China)

Peep is a Hong Kong artist who draws influence from her personal experience and reflects the world seen through her lens as a contemporary woman. The delicate and vibrant paintings of women reveal an unfettered utopia of female leisure and joy, at times featuring animals representing the feelings and stories of people from different walks of life. Her works are often infused with a dash of cuteness in hopes of bringing joy and positive energy to the chaos in this world. Following a minimal composition, Peep utilises smooth black outlines and muted primary colors to depict her popular female character with rounded features. Her play with flowing lines revitalises the simplistic scenes and delineates women’s unique vigor and vitality. Peep’s flat yet playful style visualises her yearning for ease and unsophistication in modern life. The artist hopes her paintings will spark a sense of joy and whimsy in the viewer, inviting them to take a step back and see the world in a more lighthearted and imaginative way. After graduating from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University in 2015, she enjoyed a fruitful career as the Art Director in an advertising agency whilst pursuing a career as a visual artist on Instagram. Since then, she has collaborated with well-known brands such as CASETiFY, and her works can be seen across the urban and media landscape, such as K11 Musea in Hong Kong, Vogue Hong Kong and Elle Hong Kong. She is currently based in Hong Kong.
