THE CHARITYについて

THE CHARITYは、株式会社ペトログが主催する、どうぶつ福祉のチャリティーイベントです。第1回となる「#01 -アートで動物を救う-」では、国内外33名のアーティストによる70点を超えるアート作品の展示・販売をはじめ、保護犬・保護猫の譲渡会、チャリティーグッズやペット用品の販売、ワークショップを開催します。

アート作品のご購入は、そのまま動物たちへの支援につながります。イベントで生じた利益は全額、動物保護団体・個人活動家への必要な物資の支援に活用されます。

会期：2026年8月29日（土）〜 9月6日（日）11:00〜18:00 ※8月31日（月）は休廊
会場：JPS GALLERY Tokyo（東京都渋谷区神宮前6-27-4）｜入場無料・ペット同伴可

THE CHARITY is an animal-welfare charity event organised by Petlog Inc. Its first edition, "#01 – Saving Animals Through Art –", features an exhibition and sale of over 70 artworks by 33 artists from Japan and overseas, along with adoption events for rescued dogs and cats, sales of charity goods and pet products, and workshops.

Every purchase of an artwork directly supports animals in need: all profits from the event go towards essential supplies for animal-welfare organisations and independent rescuers.

JPS Galleryについて

2014年に香港で誕生した現代アートギャラリー。現在は東京にも拠点を構え、世界各地のアーティストの作品を展覧会や国際的なアートフェアを通じて紹介しています。次世代を担う若手アーティストのキャリア形成を継続的にサポートするほか、チャリティーイベントやオークションへの協賛を通じて、社会とアートシーンへの貢献にも力を注いでいます。

「THE CHARITY #01」は、本イベントの趣旨にご賛同いただいたJPS Galleryの多大なご協力により実現しました。協賛として会場をご提供いただくとともに、国内外33名の参加アーティストの招集にもお力添えいただいています。

Established in Hong Kong in 2014, JPS Gallery is a contemporary art gallery with a second home in Tokyo. Through its exhibitions and participation in international art fairs, the gallery introduces works by artists from around the world, while offering ongoing support to emerging artists as they build their careers. JPS Gallery is also committed to giving back — to both society and the local art community — through its sponsorship of charity events and auctions.

THE CHARITY #01 has been made possible through the generous support of JPS Gallery, which shares the vision of this event. As a sponsor, the gallery has provided its exhibition space and helped bring together the 33 participating artists from Japan and overseas.

私の作品には、正解も説明書もありません。 「視覚で感じるおもてなし」をテーマに、描いている途中に生まれる偶然やひらめきを大切にしながら、一枚の世界を完成させています。一見不思議で自由な色や形の中に、それぞれの物語や感情を見つけていただけたら嬉しいです。この作品との出会いが、誰かの笑顔につながり、そして動物たちへの優しさの輪が広がることを願っています。 あなたが見つけた答えが、この作品の完成です。

おつじあーと（Otsuji Art）（日本）

幼少期より絵画に親しみ、小学生時代には絵画コンクールで入賞。2026年より本格的に創作活動を開始。人の想いに寄り添う中で育まれた色彩感覚と、「おもてなし」の心を原点に、「視覚で感じるおもてなし」をコンセプトに制作しています。下書きはせず、その瞬間に生まれる感覚やひらめきを大切に、一枚一枚と向き合っています。作品を通して、見る人の心に小さな驚きや笑顔、そして記憶に残る体験を届けたいと願っています。

Artist’s Comment

My works have no right answers or instruction manuals. With the theme of “hospitality experienced through the eyes,” I create each piece by embracing the unexpected moments and inspirations that arise during the process of painting. I hope you will discover your own stories and emotions within the seemingly mysterious and freely flowing colors and forms. I hope that encountering this artwork will bring a smile to someone’s face and help spread a circle of kindness and compassion toward animals. The answer you discover is what completes this artwork.

About the Artist

Otsuji Art (Japan)

From an early age, Otsuji Art developed a deep interest in painting and received awards in children's art competitions during elementary school. In 2026, Otsuji Art began pursuing an artistic practice in earnest. Rooted in a refined sense of color cultivated through connecting with people and a spirit of heartfelt hospitality, Otsuji Art creates works based on the concept of “hospitality experienced through vision.” Without preliminary sketches, Otsuji Art embraces the intuition, inspiration, and sensations that arise in the moment, approaching each work as a unique encounter. Through these works, Otsuji Art hopes to offer viewers small moments of surprise, warm smiles, and experiences that remain in their memories.
