THE CHARITYについて

THE CHARITYは、株式会社ペトログが主催する、どうぶつ福祉のチャリティーイベントです。第1回となる「#01 -アートで動物を救う-」では、国内外33名のアーティストによる70点を超えるアート作品の展示・販売をはじめ、保護犬・保護猫の譲渡会、チャリティーグッズやペット用品の販売、ワークショップを開催します。

アート作品のご購入は、そのまま動物たちへの支援につながります。イベントで生じた利益は全額、動物保護団体・個人活動家への必要な物資の支援に活用されます。

会期：2026年8月29日（土）〜 9月6日（日）11:00〜18:00 ※8月31日（月）は休廊
会場：JPS GALLERY Tokyo（東京都渋谷区神宮前6-27-4）｜入場無料・ペット同伴可

THE CHARITY is an animal-welfare charity event organised by Petlog Inc. Its first edition, "#01 – Saving Animals Through Art –", features an exhibition and sale of over 70 artworks by 33 artists from Japan and overseas, along with adoption events for rescued dogs and cats, sales of charity goods and pet products, and workshops.

Every purchase of an artwork directly supports animals in need: all profits from the event go towards essential supplies for animal-welfare organisations and independent rescuers.

JPS Galleryについて

2014年に香港で誕生した現代アートギャラリー。現在は東京にも拠点を構え、世界各地のアーティストの作品を展覧会や国際的なアートフェアを通じて紹介しています。次世代を担う若手アーティストのキャリア形成を継続的にサポートするほか、チャリティーイベントやオークションへの協賛を通じて、社会とアートシーンへの貢献にも力を注いでいます。

「THE CHARITY #01」は、本イベントの趣旨にご賛同いただいたJPS Galleryの多大なご協力により実現しました。協賛として会場をご提供いただくとともに、国内外33名の参加アーティストの招集にもお力添えいただいています。

Established in Hong Kong in 2014, JPS Gallery is a contemporary art gallery with a second home in Tokyo. Through its exhibitions and participation in international art fairs, the gallery introduces works by artists from around the world, while offering ongoing support to emerging artists as they build their careers. JPS Gallery is also committed to giving back — to both society and the local art community — through its sponsorship of charity events and auctions.

THE CHARITY #01 has been made possible through the generous support of JPS Gallery, which shares the vision of this event. As a sponsor, the gallery has provided its exhibition space and helped bring together the 33 participating artists from Japan and overseas.

アーティストからのコメント

私の実家には時々、迷い猫や捨て猫がやってきます。家族として迎えることもあれば、保護して世話をし、里親を探すこともあります。現在は実家を離れて暮らしていますが、そうしたことは特別なことではなく、目の前の猫に自然に手を差し伸べることが、両親にとって暮らしの一部になっているように感じます。今回のチャリティーイベントを通して、そんな小さな出会いと優しさが、動物たちの新しい居場所につながることを願っています。

アーティストについて

徳永博子（Hiroko Tokunaga）（日本）

1983年長崎県生まれ。現在は東京を拠点に活動している。グラフィックデザインを学んだ後、東京造形大学美術学部絵画科に進学し、油絵を学ぶ。世界が粒子によって構成されているという考えに基づいた構造的な視点から、物理的なものだけでなく概念的な面からも共通することに着目し、独自の視点による表現の可能性を探求し続けていく中で、透明なアクリルの板に浮かび上がる精緻な模様、細やかな点と線の集まり、ストロー クの「集積」とその重なりから「知覚」されるものを、制作のコンセプトとしている。近年では、霧などの自然現象から着想を得た作品やインスタレーション、立体作品、写真など、多様なメディアへと表現の幅を広げている。国内外のアートフェアや展覧会で作品を発表しながら、さまざまな形式に焦点を当て、制作活動の新たな展開を積極的に追求している。

Artist’s Comment

From time to time, stray or abandoned cats find their way to my family home. Sometimes we welcome them into our family; other times, we take them in, care for them, and look for loving new homes for them. Although I now live away from my family home, I feel that this has never been anything extraordinary for my parents. Reaching out naturally to a cat in need has simply become a part of their everyday lives. Through this charity event, I hope that these small encounters and acts of kindness will help lead animals to new places they can call home.

About the Artist

Hiroko Tokunaga (Japan)

Born in 1983 in Nagasaki Prefecture, she is currently based in Tokyo. After studying graphic design, she enrolled in the Department of Painting at Tokyo Zokei University, where she studied oil painting. From a structural perspective based on the idea that the world is made up of particles, she focuses on elements that are shared not only physically but also conceptually, and continues to explore modes of expression from a unique point of view. Her artistic concept centers on intricate patterns that emerge on transparent acrylic panels, delicate clusters of dots and lines, and what can be perceived through the accumulation and overlapping of brushstrokes. In recent years, she has expanded her practice to include a wide range of media, such as works inspired by natural phenomena like fog, installations, three-dimensional pieces, and photography. She is actively developing new directions in her practice, focusing on a wide range of formats and exhibiting her work in art fairs and exhibitions both in Japan and abroad.
