She earned a master's degree in Spatial Design from Musashino Art University, where she created three-dimensional works, including stage designs. During her graduate studies, she focused on blending washi (Japanese paper) with dried flowers. In her 20s, she initially worked as a model before making the transition to becoming an artist. In 2022, she began to exhibit her work, participating in both solo and group exhibitions, while also completing numerous commissioned works for model rooms, hotels, and offices. Her artistic concept, “Depicting Time Through Nature,” is inspired by her family's tradition in landscaping. She expresses this concept through semi-three-dimensional paintings, using natural elements as her muse. In an era where objects can be vividly preserved, she aims to reflect the impression of an ambiguous, immaterial existence and evoke a deep resonance in the viewer's subconscious. For this reason, being able to take part in a charity initiative through this event has been an important first step for me.\n\nSince I began working as an artist, I have consistently featured a “hamster” as the main character in my work. One of the reasons for this is my hope that, through my art, I can contribute, even in a small way, to preventing animal cruelty.\n\nIn reality, I feel that the problem of violence is difficult to stop through words alone, just as love and kindness are expressed through our everyday actions. Even so, I continue to create because I believe that art can inspire small changes and moments of kindness in someone’s heart.\n\nIn my work CALM, I have depicted a hamster and a cat sharing a peaceful moment together. I created this work with the hope that this gentle scene will continue forever.\n\nIt would mean a great deal to me if, through this charity event, I could contribute even in a small way to helping animals and supporting everyone who is involved in their welfare.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003ch3\u003eAbout the Artist\u003c\/h3\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eBurumori\u003c\/strong\u003e (Japan)\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eSince 2013, she has studied DTP design and worked in the printing industry as a DTP designer. Using the hamster — an overwhelmingly weak and fragile creature — as her central motif, she regards the negative emotions that the weak harbor toward the strong, such as resentment and envy, as among the purest and most genuine emotions inherent in human nature. For this reason, being able to take part in a charity initiative through this event has been an important first step for me.\n\nSince I began working as an artist, I have consistently featured a “hamster” as the main character in my work. One of the reasons for this is my hope that, through my art, I can contribute, even in a small way, to preventing animal cruelty.\n\nIn reality, I feel that the problem of violence is difficult to stop through words alone, just as love and kindness are expressed through our everyday actions. Even so, I continue to create because I believe that art can inspire small changes and moments of kindness in someone’s heart.\n\nIn my work CALM, I have depicted a hamster and a cat sharing a peaceful moment together.
